The Dolphins have demonstrated a varied performances this season so the jury's out on whether this is the beginning of something, but for Buffalo they'll need an instant response in a difficult matchup against the Buccaneers next week as the Patriots are sneaking into a comfortable advantage at the top of the American Football Conference East

The Colts also play the Kansas City, and have the Seattle, San Francisco and two games with the five and four Jacksonville to face. There's a considerable distance to go but the door is open for a surprise number one position in the AFC

Both squads with solid claims to be better than all of the three eight and two sides are National Football Conference West rivals the Seattle and Rams, who each scored forty points to go to seven and two ahead of next week's major game between the two in LA

Seattle were also defeated to the 49ers, with a last-minute score in the opening week, before falling to the final play of the contest against the Buccaneers - so they are truly among the top teams in the NFL

The next matchup on Sunday could be the most exciting of the season to date
