Loyal followers of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a barricade and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers showed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a performance. His Instagram profile features videos of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Several fans blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another message on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted event staff at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while others called for digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of Singapore attendees had queued up to greet the performers of Wicked

Many of supporters had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it began.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the popular stage show Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two contrasting witches.

The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the highest-grossing film of 2024 in the UK, and received a dozen Academy Award nods, securing two for best costume and set decoration.
